Permission to use image, video, voice, and/or creative work of students and children
Grand Training Limited develops teaching, learning and promotional materials and publishes them in print and digitally (eg on websites). Students sometimes also publish their own materials on websites (eg school website or other online environments).
By ticking the checkbox on the enrolment form you grant permission for GT to create/use:
- photographs, video or audio recordings of your child
- samples of your child's work
and to distribute them in the following locations:
- printed publications (eg newsletters, promotional material)
- secure intranet websites
- publically accessible websites, including social media accounts
This licence is perpetual (forever), irrevocable, free, worldwide, non-exclusive and allows for the replication, distribution, display, performance and remixing of copyrighted work for commercial purposes.
In addition, you also grant permission for your child to be photographed/recorded:
- by external media organisations for publication/broadcast for the class photographs, both individually and in a group
- This media consent form does NOT give us permission to use your child's full name without additional signed and written permission by a parent or guardian.
Note: Where permission is revoked, every effort will be made to remove relevant media from distribution, however this may not be possible or practical in some situations.
Bookings Terms and Conditions
By enrolling with Grand Training, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms and conditions (these “Terms and Conditions of Enrolment’) If you are under eighteen (18) years of age, then your parents or legal guardians agreed to be legally bound by these terms and conditions.
Payment Booking and Refund policy:
Your booking reserves space for your child/children. br>Cancellations require 7-day notice in advance of the commencement of any class at Grand Training. A $40 admin fee will be charged. No refunds will be given if the cancellation is within 48 hours of the class commencement. All payments are made in NZ Dollars only.
Your placement in our programmes will only be confirmed when full payment has been made.
Grand Training reserves the right to postpone, change, cancel programmes or refuse admission of any individual, remove any individual and change the class size.
If your child cannot attend their scheduled class day. Then please inform us by email or telephone before the scheduled class. If the class is during the school holiday a makeup class will be offered on another day.
minimum bookings required to hold a class In the event we do not meet our minimum required bookings we will cancel the course and notify you of an alternate class option based on availability. Refunds for cancelled classes will be processed within 7 business days from the cancellation date if an alternate class is not available or chosen.
If a class is cancelled midway for any reasons beyond our control, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the remaining days/time.
Requests to change to another week: If you’d like to request a change to another class or week. We require a 7-day advanced notice. Send your request to [email protected] requests are based on availability, and we cannot guarantee any placement.
if you have any problems with our service We ask that all parents contact us no later than 6:30pm on the day of the class. We require a detailed written account addressing the specific issues of concern. This will allow us to immediately address any problems that may arise. We require this to be sent via email so that we have time to respond before beginning of the next class/day.
Late Pickups Policy:
for school holiday programmes – children must be picked up before 5pm. if your child is not picked up before 5pm we will need to add on care costs to cover rent charges and tutor wages.
For after school – Children must be picked up around 5:30pm children who have not been picked up after 5:50 we will need to charge a late pickup fee to cover rent charges and tutor wages.
Health and Safety:
The customer will always ensure that the health and safety requirements of Grand Training are followed the customer will ensure that any accompanying children follow this.
Grand Training, its employees and staff/tutors accepts no responsibility for any accidents or losses incurred within the grounds of the building/school/facility which the class is held it also accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal belongings or property of the student/child or for any personal injury to or death of a student occurring on any premises that Grand Training is using, whether by fire, theft, evacuation. Students are liable for any damage caused to Grand Training premises, property and equipment.
